DATAMARK Technologies Partners with Osceola County, Florida to Elevate Emergency Response

DATAMARK Technologies, a leader in interoperable solutions for public safety location services, today announced its partnership with Osceola County, Florida to enhance emergency response precision, streamline cross-jurisdictional coordination and elevate public safety for both residents and visitors. As part of this initiative, the firm will deliver advanced Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) geographic information systems (GIS) services to ensure accurate call routing. The project will also include the deployment of DATAMARK Technologies’ cloud-native  software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, VEP, which empowers real-time GIS data validation, management and updates in alignment with National Emergency Number Association (NENA) standards and industry best practices.

Osceola County, along with several bordering counties in Florida’s Region 5, will partner with DATAMARK Technologies to strengthen GIS boundaries and support regional coordination.

To ensure the accuracy and reliability of GIS data across Osceola County and its neighboring jurisdictions, DATAMARK Technologies will develop a strategic implementation plan and carry out a series of data remediation and boundary alignment services. The County will utilize the firm’s VEP Validator and Aggregator subscriptions to promote seamless data sharing between jurisdictions and support ongoing GIS data validation and maintenance in accordance with NG9-1-1 standards and GIS best practices. Additionally, the County will leverage secure data hosting services to enable real-time access and sharing of GIS data without the need for additional hardware or software.
