Don’t Space Out: DATAMARK Orbit Is T-Minus 2 Weeks Away!

March 8, 2022

March 22 is the launch date of the DATAMARK Orbit, our third-annual, three-day virtual conference.

We’re playing host to numerous educational and inspirational sessions around GIS, Public Safety, and Human Resource management. You can check out the full schedule and register for free on our event website: https://www.eventsquid.com/event.cfm?id=15763

You may be wondering what’s possible in the infinity of space first before making the journey. Don’t fret, Orbit comes in bigger and better with several offerings this year as you can check out below.

Notable guest speakers
We’ve bridged communications from beyond our system to bring you remarkable guest speakers, such as Brooks Shannon, NENA’s Interoperability Program Manager, and George Keleman, the Executive Director at iCERT.

For any DATAMARK webinars fans, we’ll also have a few familiar speakers presenting, such as Annie Cahill, Jeff Ledbetter, and Becca Mangin.

Audience-informed sessions
It’s more than having the technology of tomorrow, but it’s knowing how to use it. DATAMARK Orbit offers sessions on Indoor Mapping best practices, Next Generation 9-1-1 data development for the Department of Defense, ensuring accessibility with Color Theory in the PSAP, and much more!

We surveyed our audience, looked at the webinar data, and consulted our team of former GIS and Public Safety professionals to create the agenda for this year.

GISP or ENP Sponsorship
DATAMARK Orbit will sponsor the GISP or ENP certification of two registered attendees who sign up, all-expenses-paid, to help them towards infinity and beyond. Learn more and enter here: https://form.jotform.com/220307295884057

Stick around until the end of DATAMARK Orbit. Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.
Those entering must fill out the above form AND be registered for DATAMARK Orbit.

Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Prizes
DATAMARK celebrates PSAPs directing from ground control and doing the incredible and agile work to help keep our communities safe. DATAMARK Orbit attendees can nominate their local PSAP to win gift baskets and 24 hours of catering during National Public Safety Telecommunicator’s Week: April 10 – 16, 2022. For more information on how to nominate, visit: https://form.jotform.com/210884772679068.

The winning PSAP will also be announced during the closing ceremony, so make sure you nominate your local PSAP before then and stay to see the winner!

We’d love to have you to celebrate the community in our orbit March 22 – 24. Check out the full schedule and register for free here: https://www.eventsquid.com/event.cfm?id=15763We look forward to seeing you then, space cowboy.

One truth our team has found in the work we’ve done at the local, county and state levels to help clients develop meaningful GIS data for use in NG9-1-1 is that we often don’t really know what we don’t know until we take our first steps toward NG9-1-1 GIS readiness.
